Holy Poop! I Think I Just Sat at the Cool Kids’ Table!

Sorry for the late post, but I had to reschedule so I could give you some more big news!

As you know, I’ve been stressing about short stories. Which characters from The Tethering to use and how much detail was enough, but I am thrilled to say that both of my short stories are going to be put to good use. One of them has been made into a stretch goal for HEROES!, an anthology from The Tethering’s publisher Silence in the Library.

Head on over to the kickstarter page and enjoy the awesomeness that is HEROES! Scroll down and see that my short story “Blood on Both Sides” is a stretch goal, and then come right back here.

First, I want you all to know that their amazing kickstarter video has me stressed out. Luckily, I happen to be working with an independent film maker, and together we shall create kickstarter video magic. Second, I’m in the big kids stretch goal crowd! Holy poop!

And third, I have HUGE news about The Tethering kickstater! I will be a part of a three novel kickstarter project with New York Times bestselling author Timothy Zahn and award winning author Jean Rabe! My book is going to be right there on the site with theirs! The kickstarter will run August 19th through September 17th, and the ebook for The Tethering will be available on Amazon on September 18th with print copies coming the next month.

I have plans for big, deep, meaningful posts this month about our place as writers and the need for heroes in today’s society. But this week is lost in the happy dance fest that I am having right now. Thank you to all of my readers for coming along on the ups and downs of this Tethering journey.
