The time for edits has come again. Two days ago, I sent in the final edits for my short story At the Corner of the Garden Wall, which will be featured in Athena’s Daughters 2, up for preorder in less than two weeks! I’m super pleased with how the story turned out, and I will be sure to keep you all up to date on the progress of the anthology!
And now it is time to do content edits on book two in The Tethering Series, The Siren’s Realm. I’ve been working with the cover artist and my publisher on the blurb, but somehow working on edits makes it all so much more real that book two is around the corner! Literally. If the year is a corner, as soon as we peek around to 2015, The Siren’s Realm pre-order will be here. It’s thrilling to know that I will have two novels available so soon!
And in the editing spirit, here are a few of the great conundrums I have conquered this time around:
Did the blood smear or drip?
Did the fairy house glow, glisten, or glimmer?
Can you buy a train ticket online without a debit card?
How fast is too fast for a twelve-year-old to forgive after she finally gets her own way?
And how does one hold on politely while riding a centaur?
