Why I Love Being Indie

I love being an indie author!

I am lucky enough to be with the small press Silence in the LibraryFor me, having the support of a publisher is amazing. Having someone who knows what comes next is incredibly important and helpful to me. But being a part of a small press means that I’m not stuck in a corporation where the people making decisions don’t really know my book. I can email my cover artist to talk about ideas directly. If I have an idea about a book promo, I can ask the people in charge and get an email back from them. There is no red tape to wade through to get things in motion. And when I say I have a new book in the series coming, they are genuinely excited, because they all actually know what my series is about.

I love being an author with a small press, and I love being indie! #indiebooksbeseen
