Madness and Maps

I’ve been in Alaska for more than a week now. Time flies when you’re surrounded by so much beauty!

I’ve been hard at work getting a query, blurb and synopsis ready to submit my new project. But of course, like the crazy person I am, I’m still work on a new new project. I’m back in the land of maps and have decorated my Alaskan adobe accordingly. There’s something about maps, being able to see where you are in the world and all the places you have yet to go, that makes you feel so big and so small all at once.

And how could that not be inspiring!

I’ll be sharing lots of pictures of my Alaskan adventures on Twitter, so be sure to follow me @MeganORussell

And don’t forget to check out the guest blog I wrote this week all about finding the right words when writing fantasy. It’ll even give you a sneak peek into how the spell language for The Tethering Series was created.
