It has been a week. I heard back from my first beta reader on the new project, and she loved it! The only thing she found was a stray house key that miraculously rose from the magical ashes to be used again ten chapters later. But compared to a couch, a house key really isn’t too bad a thing to lose track of. So yay me! I’m still waiting to hear back from a few more betas, and then it’ll be time to give the project a final polish before it joins the great submission brigade!
And on the submission front, please cross all available appendages for me! I know, that’s super descriptive, but send all good authorly vibes, prayers, and thoughts my way. I even Googled the Patron Saint of Authors. It’s Frances de Salles, or maybe Lucy. I’m not Catholic, so I just got really confused.
And Nuttycracker Sweet is officially in line edits! Which means soon there will be ARCs and preorder and then a Christmas Novella!
Like I said, it’s been a week! But it’s great! And one foot in front of the other is the way to move forward! So here’s to edits, emails, and ARCs!
