Pushing Past the Difficulties of Writing

I love the mountains. I know dizzying heights may not be for everyone, but they are for me. Looking up into the sky and seeing something that’s thousands of feet above you, protecting you and daunting you all at once. Mountains create valleys and challenges. They keep the storm from coming and hold the thunder over your head when it arrives.
As an author, I’ve been on the brink of tossing my laptop from a mountain peak a hundred times. No more hours of writing, forget the pain of editing, just toss the computer and watch it smash. I’d never have to worry about preserving the integrity of a character’s storyline or a new promo event ever again.
