I have news, and I can finally share it!
I signed a contract with Curiosity Quills Press for The Tale of Bryant Adams: How I Magically Messed Up My Life in Four Freakin’ Days!
Megan O’Russell’s THE TALE OF BRYANT ADAMS: How I Magically Messed Up My Life in Four Freakin’ Days, pitched as a tongue-in-cheek take on Harry Potter meets Neil Gaiman’s Neverwhere, in which evil shadow-cloaked monsters and mist ladies track Bryant Adams through the streets and tunnels of Manhattan all because of a magical cellphone that burned down half his school, most of a penthouse… and a trash can, until it increasingly looks like surviving the weekend might take more magic than even the pyromaniac’s dream phone can provide.
With Girl of Glass coming out this December 6th, the next book in The Tethering Series, The Dragon Unbound just around the corner, and The Tale of Bryant Adams: How I Magically Messed Up My Life in Four Freakin’ Days set to go next summer, it’s going to be one hell of a year!
Curiosity Quills sent over a marketing plan sheet for me to fill out, and it was strange. I mean, I’ve always brainstormed marketing ideas and had goals in mind, but it was the first time that I’d written things out with bullets and numbers and all those fancy, grown-up sorts of things. And besides feeling terrified and utterly out of my depth, it was empowering. I have a plan, I have goals, and I will find a way to reach them!
So stay tuned, because the year of chaos and publishing has just begun!
